Policy Details:
All items are covered up to $40 per garment and $200 per load.
We cover the full used value of the item. Value is calculated at 70% of full retail price.
Claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery.
All approved claims with be paid as an account credit.
Shrinkage:
Many garments shrink when laundered. To try to prevent this as much as possible we only wash in cold water and dry on regular heat. We never use the high setting on the dryer. Unfortunately no matter what precautions we take some items still shrink. This is normal and expected. Shrinking can be caused by the type of material, age of the item, and other factors. We cannot take responsibility for this as this is normal and would happen if the item was laundered at home. Remember, items such as shirts can be hang dried upon request.
Holes and Tears:
Over time garments may become thin and become susceptible to holes and tears. This can happen as part of the normal laundering process and would also occur the the item was washed at home. We cannot be held responsible for normal holes and tears that are part of the regular laundering process.
Color Bleeding
We always separate colors and whites. We also wash in cold water to prevent color bleeding. In some instances beyond our control colors may bleed and affect other garments. This would also occur if the item was laundered at home and cannot be covered.
Laundry Credit
Any credit given under the Laundry Service Guarantee is of the sole discretion of Laurel Highland Laundry Service.
